LID will publish an important new business book by Monica McCoy in February of 2024. Entitled TILT: Strategies that shift the odds for women at work, the book presents insights from significant scholarly research and provides strategies for how women can improve their chances of overcoming workplace challenges. It is a candid and personal playbook that ambitious, talented women can turn to for actionable insights on all things professional, with special attention paid to the unique challenges faced by women of colour.

The author Monica McCoy is an award-winning speaker, business strategist and consultant. She is a founder of Monica Motivates LLC which offers education and consulting services to women and underrepresented entrepreneurs. In 2018 she founded Global Supplier Diversity Conference (GSDC) which provides the strategic framework for founders to identify, prepare and secure corporate contract opportunities. McCoy is the former Global Director of Strategy and Innovation for the McDonald’s Division of The Coca-Cola Company where she spent 15 years. She lives in the USA in Atlanta, Georgia.
